Add Meaning to Your Ride

In Memory of Christina "Lil' B" Northey

After a long hard fought battle with cancer, Christina lost the fight on September 8th, 2019. Words cannot describe the kind, loving and generous person she was. Her off the wall sense of humour would have even the most stoic person in tears of laughter. She will be sadly missed by her family, every member of the club and anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting her. KCR promises to pay tribute to this beautiful person with an annual fundraising event for victims and fighters of cancer that are in similar circumstances.

Night Time Diddles

A short time before Christina passed she got to spend a weekend at the Trailer with close friends.

Christina Northey RIP

The Memorial Video played at the funeral. People sent in over 600 photos for this tribute...Pinky Brown started with a 30 minute video but was able to edit it down to 10 minutes and capture Christina's heart.

Exciting News

The Northey Family along with KCR will be starting a Cancer Fund in Christina's honour and memory. This program will strive to help families that are helping a loved one fight CANCER. The financial struggle that is placed on a family at this time is incredible and it can add unnecessary stress and heartache. The main mission of this new fund will be to host fundraisers and donate the monies raised directly to the family in need. We sincerely hope to have this program legitimately up and running early summer 2020.  For more information please visit their facebook page @ChristinasFamily or their webpage www.christinasfamily.ca

RIP Announcements

Ryker Reginald Worr

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ryker Worr, 7 years old. He lost his battle to cancer on November 13th, 2020.  The Kawartha Charity Riders hosted a poker run in 2016 for the Worr family, The Little Worr-iors Ride.

Ryker endured so much in his young life and yet still managed to make it through as happy as any child would be. KCR has planted a tree and made a donation to Ronald McDonald House in Ryker's memory.

The Kawartha Charity Riders will also be adding the Little Worr-iors Ride as an annual event. The proceeds will be donated to Charity Organizations that strive to make sick children's lives better. We are currently working on the details.

Our hearts and prayers are always with Cheri-Lei, Pete & Olivia and all of Ryker's Family.
