KAWARTHA CHARITY RIDERS RC

Add Meaning to Your Ride

WHO WE ARE...

We are Kawartha Charity Riders. A community based Riding Club assisting families and organizations in Kawartha Lakes and surrounding area. We do multiple fundraising events throughout the riding season and the "upgrade your bike" season to help families get through difficult times. For most of us, riding a motorcycle changed our lives, being a Kawartha Charity Rider gives us a chance to give back and maybe change someone else's life.

Adding Meaning to Our Ride Since 2009

The Kawartha Charity Riders RC is a unregistered non-profit organization who donates all the money we raise to local families and charity organizations. We support Christina's Family, The Centre of Hope, A Place Called Home, Big Brothers & Sisters, Special Olympics and many other charitable organizations. We also support local families that are going through hard times because of disaster or illness by providing emotional and financial help with their struggle. In 2018, KCR managed to donate just under $15000. For 2019 we were able to double that amount by donating over $32000 in money, toys and food.

To date, the Kawartha Charity Riders have donated just over $200,000 to families and organizations in need. We are proud to support our community.

Thinking about Joining?

The Kawartha Charity Riders still believe that hard work and commitment need to be rewarded. This is not an internet club or a Facebook Group. Our patch is earned. We do not discriminate and the only requirements needed to be a member are that you ride and that you help out. If you are interested, come and hang out; go for a ride with us; volunteer at an event...see if our club is the right fit for you.
